The Compass line-up gets a re-entry with the 2022 Compass Trailhawk in our market. The latest iteration of the Compass Trailhawk comes with a price tag of INR 30.72 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). Jeep has revealed that the Trailhawk variant of the Compass is one of the most capable SUVs in the Indian market. It has received a few updates from the facelifted Compass that was launched in our market last year. The finely tuned Trailhawk offers a combination of on-road and off-road ride comfort and handling.

The Compass Trailhawk comes with raised suspension that allows for water wading up to 19 inches, which is better than the regular variant of the car. The SUV also borrows the new headlights and grille from the facelifted Compass. The new grille is a Grey Seven Slot unit with Black Surrounds. LED Front Cornering Fog Lamps, Rain Sensing Front Wipers, 17-inch Trailhawk alloy wheels and 225/65R17 all-season tyres are all-new on this new iteration.

On the inside, the contrast red stitching and ‘Trailhawk’ logos on the seats remind you that you are not in an ordinary Compass. Jeep has also fitted the Compass Trailhawk with a 10.1-inch UconnectTM touchscreen display with integrated navigation and voice commands. And for an amazing music experience inside the cabin, Jeep has also fitted the car with 9 Amplified Branded speakers with Subwoofer.

In addition to these features, Jeep has also given the Compass a touch of the 'Trail Rated' badge, which sets it SUV in a select league. Jeep has also added a “Rock” mode (AWD) to the Compass Trailhawk. In addition to that, the SUV also comes with superior approach and departure angles compared to the standard SUV, thanks to the tweaked front and rear bumpers. The turning radius of 5.7m has not changed. The 20:1 Crawl ratio, a Ramp Travel Index of 321, Jeep Select-Terrain system with five driving modes help with the off-roading abilities of the SUV.

In terms of firepower, the Compass Trailhawk is fitted with a 2.0-litre, Multijet II, Diesel engine from its predecessor that churns out 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox, which is best in the class as claimed by Jeep.
