The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 kicked off today in New Delhi, bringing together some of the biggest names in the automotive world. The event, which aims to highlight advancements in mobility, sustainability, and technology, has turned into a haven for car enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Here’s a look at all the exciting cars unveiled on Day 1.
BMW India
BMW India introduced its first locally made electric vehicle, the BMW X1 LWB All Electric. The SUV, priced at INR 49 Lakh, comes with the eDrive20L drivetrain, delivering 204 hp, 250 Nm of torque, and a 531 km range.
Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp launched several exciting products on the Day 1. Key highlights include the Xtreme 250R, marking its debut in the 250cc segment, and the addition of the Xpulse 210 to its adventure portfolio. The company also introduced the Xoom125 and Xoom 160 scooters, expanding its scooter lineup. Hero unveiled its first flex-fuel motorcycle, the HF Deluxe, powered by ethanol-based fuel, and showcased the VIDA V2 e-scooter with advanced removable battery technology. Additionally, Hero presented the Surge S32, a groundbreaking class-convertible vehicle.
Hyundai Motor India
Hyundai launched the highly anticipated Hyundai Creta electric at an introductory price of INR 17,99,000. The electric SUV features a pixelated graphic front grille, integrated charging port, aerodynamic design with active air flaps, and R17 alloy wheels. Its interiors include a dual-tone color theme, floating console, eco-friendly seats, and dual curvilinear screens.
The Creta electric offers two battery options, 42kWh and 51.4kWh, providing range of 390 km and 473 km, respectively. It also includes Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, fast charging, and an IP67 rated battery for safety. The vehicle’s price varies based on variants and battery options.
JSW MG Motor India
MG unveiled two groundbreaking models under its new luxury brand channel, MG Select - Cyberster, an all-electric roadster, and M9, an electric three-row presidential limousine. The MG Cyberster blends iconic roadster heritage with modern technology, featuring electric scissor doors, lightning-fast acceleration (0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds), and a slim 77 kWh battery. The aerodynamic design and advanced features reimagine luxury sports cars for a new generation.
The MG M9 offers reclining ottoman seats, touchscreen armrest controls, and a serene cabin ambiance. This three-row electric limousine combines opulence and advanced tech, including a panoramic sunroof and precise climate control, setting a new benchmark for luxury EVs in India.
Kia India
South Korean carmaker, Kia unveiled the new EV6 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing advanced features and innovations. The EV6 now offers a remarkable 650+ km range, powered by an upgraded 84-kWh battery, and can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes. It includes 27 safety features under the ADAS 2.0 package, with five new additions like collision avoidance and lane assist.
The new design now features sportier styling, Star Map lighting, and a premium cabin with enhanced tech like a panoramic curved display and Kia Connect 2.0. This redefined EV ensures luxury, safety, and performance.
Kia has started booking for the new EV6 starting today.
Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki finally unveiled its first electric car, the eVitara, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Built on the new Heartech-e platform, the eVitara offers two battery options, 49kWh and 61kWh, providing a range of over 500 km on a single charge. The SUV features a sleek exterior with 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the eVitara gets a digital cockpit with a 10.1” integrated display and premium sound by Infinity by Harman. Safety is a key focus with 7 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and a robust battery protection system.
Upon its launch, the car will available in 10 body colour options with 4 dual tone options.
Mercedes – Benz India
Mercedes – Benz unveiled two luxury electric SUVs: the EQS Maybach SUV 680 ‘Night Series,’ priced at INR 2.63 Crore, and the Maybach GLS 600, priced at INR 3.71 Crore.
Porsche India
Porsche India launched the two new Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) – the second-generation Macan SUV and the updated Taycan sports saloon – at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. These launches, along with the 2023 Cayenne, mark a refreshed model lineup for Porsche India as the brand drives into 2025 with cutting-edge innovation.
The new Macan BEV is available in three models: Macan (INR 1.21 crore), Macan 4S (INR 1.38 crore), and the high-performance Macan Turbo (INR 1.68 crore) with 470 kW (639 PS).
The updated Taycan comes in two versions: Taycan 4S (INR 1.89 crore) and Taycan Turbo (INR 2.52 crore). A two-wheel-drive model offering an extended WLTP range of up to 678 km—35% higher than before—will launch later.
Skoda Auto India
Skoda presented a curated collection of eight models. Key highlights include the all-new Kodiaq, a luxury seven-seat 4x4 SUV known for its off-road capability and comfort. The 2025 Skoda Superb continues the legacy of elegance with its spacious, luxurious design. The facelifted Skoda Octavia vRS offers thrilling performance and agility.
Skoda also introduced the Elroq, an entry-level global EV, and the Vision 7S concept, showcasing the brand’s future vision of electric mobility with advanced technology and sustainability. Additionally, the Kylaq and Kushaq Monte Carlo were on display.
Suzuki Motorcycle India
Suzuki Motorcycle India launched several exciting models, including its first electric scooter, the e-Access, and the all-new Access 125 scooter, alongside the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel, designed for a carbon-neutral future.
The e-Access features a 3.07 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a top speed of 71 km/h and a range of 95 km per charge. With features like keyless entry, a TFT LCD screen, and smartphone connectivity via the Suzuki Ride Connect app, it's designed for modern riders. Charging takes 6 hours with a portable charger or 2.5 hours with a fast charger.
The Access 125 comes with a 125cc engine, delivering 6.2 kW of power, and boasts improved comfort and advanced tech like Bluetooth integration with Suzuki Ride Connect.
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel is ready for ethanol-based fuels (up to E85), contributing to reduced CO2 emissions while offering 27.9 PS power and a sleek design.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors stole the spotlight by showcasing a variety of vehicles, from small cars and SUVs to heavy-duty trucks. The company highlighted its focus on future-ready, eco-friendly technologies like hydrogen, natural gas, and flex-fuel vehicles, which are ready to launch as soon as the market needs them.
The main attractions at Tata’s pavilion were three key models: Tata Sierra ICE, Harrier EV, and Avinya X concept. The Tata Sierra ICE brought back a classic SUV with a fresh, modern look. It features big windows inspired by the original design and adds advanced features like a triple-display dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, and safety tech (ADAS). While only the petrol and diesel versions were shown, Tata plans to launch an electric version of the Sierra later this year.
The Tata Harrier EV, the company’s first mid-size electric SUV, impressed visitors with its all-wheel drive, advanced safety features, and a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge. It’s ready to compete with rivals like the Mahindra BE 6 and Hyundai Creta Electric.
The Avinya X concept showcased Tata’s vision for the future of luxury electric vehicles. With a sleek coupe-SUV design, unique T-shaped LED lights, and a strong focus on sustainability, it represented a bold step forward for premium green mobility.
