Day 2 of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 continued to build on the excitement, showcasing groundbreaking innovations and futuristic mobility solutions from leading automotive brands. With a strong focus on sustainable and electric mobility, the day brought a mix of concept launches, high-tech vehicles, and strategic collaborations aimed at reshaping transportation in India and beyond. Here's a closer look at the standout moments and unveilings from the second day.
BMW Motorrad
BMW Motorrad introduced the new BMW S 1000 RR on Day 2 of Auto Expo 2025. This popular supersport bike is now available for bookings through BMW Motorrad dealers, with deliveries starting in April 2025.
Powered by a 999cc engine with 210 hp, the S 1000 RR can reach a top speed of 300 km/h. It includes advanced riding modes for road and track use, along with features like a 6.5-inch display, traction control, and a high-performance braking system. It features improved winglets for more stability at high speeds, better brake cooling ducts, and redesigned side panels for better airflow.
The bike comes in three colour options: Black Storm Metallic, Bluestone Metallic, and Light White/M Motorsport. It is priced at INR 21,10,000 (ex-showroom) and will be sold as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
BYD India
Chinese carmaker, BYD unveiled the all-electric BYD Sealion 7 on the Day 2 of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Available in Premium and Performance variants, the Sealion 7 features an 82.56 kWh battery, delivering a range of 542 & 567 km, depending on the model. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds (Performance trim) and offers advanced features like a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, panoramic glassroof, and Nappa leather seats.
BYD also showcased the Yangwang U8, a luxury SUV capable of steering in water for up to 30 minutes and performing tank turns on all terrains with its advanced e4 platform.
Hyundai Motor India
Hyundai revealed concept models of its advanced electric three-wheeler and micro four-wheeler on the Day 2 of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. In partnership with TVS Motor, the electric three-wheeler is planned for local production, while the micro four-wheeler's development is being evaluated. The three-wheeler reimagines the motor rickshaw with an eco-friendly design, enhanced collision protection, and wheelchair accessibility.
JSW MG Motor India
MG showcased a variety of next-gen mobility solutions on the Day 2, unveiling nine global models. This diverse lineup includes Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) models. The star of the show was the MG Majestor, India's first D+ segment SUV. This large SUV combines rugged performance with luxury, offering advanced features, a spacious cabin, and top-tier safety systems.
Other key models included the IM5 sedan, featuring solid-state battery technology and a powerful hurricane motor, and the all-electric IM6 SUV, equipped with advanced driving systems. The MG HS PHEV offers a sustainable driving experience with the ability to run on electric power for up to 120 km. The MG 7 Trophy Edition is a sleek, high-performance sports sedan, while the MG Comet Blackstorm brings style with enhanced features and a 17.4 kWh battery.
MINI India
MINI introduced the new Cooper S John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This fifth-generation model is sporty, stylish, and packed with advanced features. It will be available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and can be booked only on the MINI Online Shop. Deliveries will start in April 2025.
Inside, it offers sporty JCW seats, a digital dashboard, and a 240mm OLED touchscreen. Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine, it delivers 204 hp, 300 Nm torque, and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.
Priced at INR 55,90,000, the car comes in two eye-catching colour options: Legend Grey and Midnight Black, with black roof and mirror caps. It has 17-inch Sprint Spoke Black alloy wheels and a sporty design with features like a bold grille, side skirts, rear spoiler, and sleek bumpers.
Motovolt Mobility
Two-wheeler manufacturer, Motovolt Mobility introduced a range of innovative electric vehicles. The highlight of the collection was the Hyper One, India’s first digital pedal motorbike. Unlike typical electric bikes, it offers manually controlled power with a foot-operated digital pedal and a 5kW motor. This allows the bike to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in seconds, with a top speed of 110 km/h and a range of 105 km.
Also showcased was the ‘Hum Nyc’, India’s first multi-utility speed pedelec designed for New York City’s delivery riders, with a 42 km/h top speed and a 130 km range. The M7, designed for personal commuting and logistics, provides a comfortable ride with a sporty look. The M7 Rally offers high performance with fast acceleration and a range of over 120 km. Other models, including the Clip e-bike conversion kit, promises to make electric mobility more accessible and practical for everyday use.
SML ISUZU
ISUZU Motors unveiled its D-Max BEV prototype at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Originally introduced in Thailand earlier this year, the D-Max BEV is designed to cater to both commercial and passenger needs while maintaining the durability and performance expected of pickup trucks. Equipped with a full-time 4WD system and advanced e-Axles on the front and rear, the vehicle ensures smooth acceleration and excellent performance, even on rough terrain. It also boasts a high towing capacity, robust frame, and sturdy body design, matching the capabilities of its diesel counterparts.
Additionally, Isuzu presented an accessorized version of the D-Max S-Cab Z, featuring upgrades like larger tires and an enhanced music system, showcasing the brand's focus on combining utility with comfort and style.
Vayve Mobility
Vayve Mobility launched Eva, India's first solar electric car, at an introductory price starting at INR 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Designed as a slim, premium two-seater city car, Eva aims to make urban driving more convenient and enjoyable, especially in crowded cities with traffic and limited parking.
It is available in three battery options: 9 kWh, 12 kWh, and 18 kWh, with prices ranging from INR 3.25 lakh to INR 5.99 lakh. Customers can pre-book Eva for just INR 5,000, with deliveries expected in late 2026.
Eva offers a range of 250 km per charge and has a top speed of 70 km/h. The car comes with solar charging options for added savings and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 5 seconds, making it a perfect car for city trips.
VinFast Auto India
Vietnamese automaker, VinFast officially forayed into the Indian market with the introduction of its first electric cars for the Indian market. The company unveiled two premium all-electric SUVs, the VF 7 and VF 6, and announced plans to launch them around the festive season this year in India. India will also be the first market to receive right-hand drive versions of these models.
The VF 7 offers a bold design, advanced technologies, and a driver-focused interior, delivering an exciting driving experience. The VF 6 balances performance and sophistication, inspired by a design philosophy that combines technology with human-centric features.
In addition to the VF 7 and VF 6, VinFast showcased its wider range of electric SUVs, scooters, bikes, and a concept pickup truck as well.
