The excitement is pumping up as the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 promises to be bigger than ever with plethora of new scooter and motorcycle launches. The country’s biggest automotive euphoria is all set to return in January 2025 in the form of Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Auto enthusiasts across the country are waiting for the 5-day long event with bated breath as it promises to be a lot bigger than its previous edition. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will be a platform for several global two-wheeler and four-wheeler brands to showcase their new range of products for the Indian market. In this article, we will take a look at the new motorcycles and scooters that will be launching at the upcoming edition of the annual automobile exhibition.
Hero Xpulse 210:
Hero Xpulse 210 is one of the most-talked about motorcycle launches of India in 2025. The all-new bike had its world premiere at the EICMA 2024 in Milan last month. Speculated to replace the Xpulse 200 in the domestic market, it comes with a bigger 210cc powertrain which has been borrowed from the Karizma XMR. The single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine makes top power of 24.6 bhp and peak torque of 20.7 Nm while linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Hero Xpulse 210 is equipped with 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel as standard. The entry-level ADV bike boasts of multiple premium features in the form of 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity and dual-channel ABS. Hero is expected to announce the pricing of the Xpulse 210 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Hero Xtreme 250R:
The bigger version of the Xtreme 200R was unveiled at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. It is confirmed that the Xtreme 250R will be showcased to the Indian audience at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Equipped with a brand spanking new 250cc liquid-cooled petrol engine with power output of 30 bhp at 9,250 rpm and torque performance of 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm, Hero Xtreme 250R will mark the company’s debut in the quarter-litre segment of motorcycles. The bike comes loaded with a myriad of advanced features such as all-LED lighting, switchable ABS, and dual-tone colours. Upon its launch in India, the Xtreme 250R will rival KTM 250 Duke and Husqvarna Vitpilen 250.
Hero Karizma XMR 250:
The Karizma XMR 250 was one of the three all-new motorcycles which debuted at the EICMA 2024. The fully-faired motorcycle will make its first public appearance in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It will also be powered by the same 250cc single-cylinder engine with similar power and torque figures along with the 6-speed transmission as the Xtreme 250R. The biggest highlight of the Karizma XMR 250 is going to be the height-adjustable clip-on handlebar which has not been seen before with any Hero bike. Some of the other significant features in the bike will include dual-channel ABS, TFT instrument cluster and full-LED lighting.
New Hero Mavrick 440:
Hero will launch the updated version of its flagship motorcycle, the Mavrick 440, on Jan 17, 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. It was revealed at the Milan Motor Show last month in Italy. The 2025 Hero Mavrick 440 gets substantial cosmetic updates over the ongoing model such as golden-coloured USD front suspension, TFT instrument cluster, and new color schemes. Most of these elements have been sourced from the Harley-Davidson X440. Despite the addition of premium elements, the new bike is lighter by 2 kg than the present model. The 2025 Hero Mavrick 440 price is expected to start from INR 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) which is nearly INR 20,000 more expensive than the ongoing model.
Honda Activa EV
Honda’s first-ever electric scooter in India was unveiled in the form of the Activa e: on Nov 27, 2024. Based on the country’s highest selling Activa scooter, it is presented with two swappable battery packs from Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt Ltd, which is headquartered in Bengaluru. Honda Activa e: price would be announced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 as it goes on sale shortly in the Indian market. Riding on 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, the Activa electric gets two 1.5 kWh battery packs which are removable and deliver a range of 102 km on full charge. The e-scooter has a top speed of 80kmph and it can sprint to the 60kmph mark from standstill in 7.3 secs.
Honda QC1:
The QC1, unveiled alongside the Activa e:, is a more conventional electric scooter with a fixed battery pack. The electric scooter is powered by a 1.5 kWh battery which returns a range of 80 km on single charge. It will be up against the Ola S1 Z for B2B operators in the Indian market. Honda QC1 bookings will start from Jan 1 while the price will be revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It has an underseat storage area of 26 litres while there is USB Type-C charging slot for Smartphone. Honda is offering 3 years/50,000 km warranty as standard along with three free services. Furthermore, roadside assistance is also provided free of cost for the first year on the purchase of Honda QC1.
TVS Jupiter EV:
TVS Motor Company, in one of the investor meetings, confirmed that it will launch an all-new electric scooter in the Indian market by March 2025. Now, we learn that the new TVS e-scooter will be based on the Jupiter and it will debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Though details are scarce at the moment about the new Jupiter EV, we have firsthand information that it will be introduced with a fixed battery pack with range less than 100 km to rival Ola S1 X and Honda QC1. It would be the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand’s third all-electric offering in India after the iQube and X.
TVS Apache RTX 310:
TVS Apache RTX 310 would be the company’s first middleweight adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. It was recently spotted for the first time near the brand’s factory and reports suggest that the RTX 310 will have its global premiere at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The ADV bike will be powered by the all-new 299.1cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled RT-XD4 petrol engine which was unveiled at the MotoSoul 4.0 in Goa earlier this month. This engine delivers max power of 34.5 bhp and highest torque of 28.5 Nm while linked to a 6-speed gearbox. The RTX 310 will also come with switchable dual-channel ABS, ride-by- wire throttle system, and assist & slipper clutch.
Suzuki Access EV:
Suzuki is gearing up to launch its first-ever in the Indian market. If sources are to be believed, it will be the Access 125 based e-scooter which will be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January. It has been learnt that Suzuki Access EV will come with a fixed battery pack which will be produced locally from Jan 2025 in India. Internally codenamed as XF091, it is expected to come with a diverse range of battery packs. The range and top speed could be at par with its rivals. Suzuki Access EV price could start from INR 1 lakh (ex-showroom) and go as high as INR 1.30 lakh for the range-topping variant. The Japanese brand is yet to reveal the official details.
2025 Yamaha MT-03:
The global-spec MT-03 received significant updates a few weeks back and now we learn that the bike is heading to Indian shores with a debut planned at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The naked streetfighter will be presented in a never-seen-before Ice Storm colourway which has the bike in white colour on the body with blue stripes. In addition, it boasts of a new LCD instrument console with advanced features like Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call notifications. Yamaha has also introduced Assist & Slipper Clutch with the 2025 MT-03 as standard. However, it remains to be seen if the India-spec Yamaha MT-03 carries all these updates or not.
Bajaj Chetak 35 Series:
Bajaj Auto launched the Chetak EV 35 range with three variants namely 3501, 3502 and 3503. It announced the prices of the mid-level 3502 and top-end 3501 variants but the price announcement of the entry-level 3503 variant will take place at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery pack, it has a range of 153 km on a full charge. The e-scooter comes with a top speed of 73 kmph. Bajaj is providing a 950 watt home charger with the Chetak 35 range which has the ability to charge it from 0 to 80 percent in just three hours. FYI, Bajaj Chetak EV, was the best-selling electric scooter in India in December 2024.
Yamaha XSR 155:
Yamaha India is planning to showcase the XSR 155 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and gauge the customer response before eventually deciding to launch it in the country. Yamaha XSR 155 underpins the MT-15 chassis which is locally developed in India and hence, it would really make for a cost-effective motorcycle upon its launch. The bike flaunts a circular LED headlamp, teardrop shaped fuel tank and short fenders. It is equipped with USD front suspension and mono-shock unit at the rear while the braking duties are helmed by disc units at front as well as rear. The XSR 155 houses a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which delivers decent power along with mileage.
