NEW DELHI :

Iconic British premium motorcycle brand, Triumph Motorcycles launched the new road focused Tiger 850 Sport in India today at INR 11.95 lakh. The road focused Tiger 850 Sport is the latest addition to Triumph’s premium adventure motorcycle line-up, taking the overall number to 4. Triumph has one of the largest offering of premium adventure motorcycles in the country with the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, Rally, GT and now the Tiger 850 Sport.

The Tiger 850 Sport is aimed towards urban adventure enthusiasts, apt for daily commuting, long rides as well as for weekend adventure runs. Along with the launch, Triumph has also opened the bookings for the Tiger 850 Sport.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Shoeb Farooq, Business Head - Triumph Motorcycles India said: “We are excited to introduce the new member of the Tiger family; Triumph Motorcycles have been dominating the premium adventure segment in the country since the first Tiger made its way to the Indian shores and now with the launch of the new Tiger 850 sport, we extend the Tiger portfolio to 4 purposefully different motorcycles, at the same time strengthening our commitment to catering to premium adventure motorcyclists in the country.

While the Tiger 850 sport is more road focussed, its adventure bearing capability is at par with its 900 siblings and we’re sure it will open the gates for more potential adventure customers to be part of the Triumph family.”
