Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has reported a record-breaking performance for the fiscal year 2024-25, achieving its best single-year results in the last seven years, despite challenges faced by the domestic auto industry. The success was driven by the continued strong performance of the New Nissan Magnite, which remains a cornerstone of the company’s domestic strategy and a crucial part of its global export operations.For FY 2024-25, Nissan India achieved total domestic sales of over 28,000 units, with the New Nissan Magnite, introduced in October 2024, leading the charge. This robust growth comes in spite of the rising consumer demand for alternate fuel vehicles within the B-SUV segment in India.On the export front, Nissan Motor India expanded its reach significantly, growing from 20 markets to more than 65 international markets. This expansion contributed to an unprecedented export performance of over 71,000 units, underscoring India’s growing role as a manufacturing and export hub for Nissan.
