The new-generation Tata Tiago Petrol embraces an entirely new visual language, moving away from the curvier silhouette of its predecessor. Under the leadership of Martin Uhlarik, Chief Design Officer at Tata Motors, the design team has given the Tiago a sharper, more aggressive stance that appears to draw inspiration from the brand’s larger SUV lineup. The front end marks the most dramatic departure from the previous generation. Replacing the familiar honeycomb grille and traditional headlamp arrangement is a smooth, deep-black grille that stretches almost to the corners of the fascia. Sleek smoked-effect headlamps extend outward, creating a wider and more contemporary appearance. Subtly flared wheel arches add visual muscle, while the R15 diamond-cut dynamic alloy wheels on the top-spec Creative+ variant lend the hatchback a confident, planted stance. The profile is defined by strong character lines running from the front fenders to the halo lightbar-connected tail lamps, creating a sense of movement even when stationary. The overall effect is a hatchback that appears ready to spring into action. The Tiago also carries an ageless European appeal, both in its design execution and perceived build strength.
