Recently, Jaguar Land Rover, the British luxury marque announced a new all-terrain high-performance version of the Defender SUV. Christened Land Rover Defender Octa, it will break cover by the end of 2024. The brand has termed it as “the toughest, most capable and luxurious Defender ever.” More details regarding the Defender will be revealed closer to the launch. Meanwhile, here’s all that we know about the Land Rover Defender Octa which will square off directly against the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, also popularly known as the G-Wagon. The name ‘Octa’ draws inspiration from the octahedron shape of a diamond which is a clear testament to luxury and durability that the SUV is going to be. The Defender Octa will flaunt a new encircled diamond-inspired signature graphic on multiple components, including a gloss black diamond within a machined and sandblasted titanium disc on each signature Graphic panel. The Defender Octa will also get Brembo brakes. The Defender Octa will get the diamond-inspired signature graphic on a number of interior elements, including the steering wheel.
