MS: The original 1991 Sierra was ahead of its time, with features such as power windows, power steering, air-conditioning, and a distinctive lifestyle-oriented design. The challenge now was maintaining that emotional signature while catering to today’s customers who expect more technology, greater comfort, and a higher level of engagement with their vehicle. The new Sierra echoes the original but with modern execution. The surfaces are clean, with no visible weld seals, and very smooth lines. The original Sierra lacked a traditional door handle, so this time the handle is extremely slim and almost disappears visually.
