NEW DELHI
Ather Energy Limited, one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers, has announced a significant milestone with the expansion of its service network to 500 authorised centres nationwide. This development runs parallel to the company’s steadily widening retail footprint and reinforces its long-standing commitment to delivering a seamless ownership experience.
From its inception, Ather has prioritised the establishment of robust service infrastructure in every market where it retails its scooters. This strategic approach ensures that customers benefit from dependable after-sales support, an increasingly critical factor as electric vehicle adoption accelerates across the country.
Beyond mere expansion, Ather continues to invest in enhancing service quality, operational efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. Its Gold Service Centres exemplify this ethos, featuring contemporary customer lounges, advanced diagnostic and service equipment, and streamlined processes designed to foster transparency and reliability.
Further augmenting convenience is Ather’s ExpressCare initiative—a 60-minute periodic maintenance programme currently available at 82 centres. This offering enables riders to complete routine servicing swiftly without compromising on quality, reflecting the brand’s customer-centric philosophy.
In FY26, the company nearly doubled its service footprint, scaling from 277 to 500 centres. This rapid expansion underscores Ather’s focus on consistently elevating service standards across every customer touchpoint.

Commenting on the milestone, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “Crossing 500 service centres is an important milestone as we continue to scale our retail footprint and customer base across the country. From the early days, we have focused on building service capacity alongside sales because reliable after-sales support is a core part of the overall ownership experience. As our presence grows, having a strong service network becomes even more critical. Our focus is on ensuring that riders have access to trained technicians, transparent processes, and consistent service quality wherever they are.”
The network expansion comes amid robust demand for Ather’s electric scooters, notably the Ather 450 range and the Rizta family scooter. These offerings have enabled the company to penetrate new customer segments and extend its reach into diverse markets.
By scaling its service network in tandem with retail growth, Ather now delivers reliable and timely support across Tier-1, Tier-2, and emerging cities. This complements its broader ambition to expand to 700 Experience Centres by FY26. As of December 31, 2025, the company operates 600 Experience Centres nationwide.
In parallel with its service expansion, Ather continues to bolster the country’s electric mobility ecosystem through the Ather Grid. Recognised as India’s largest two-wheeler fast-charging network, Ather Grid comprises over 4,357 fast-charging points and neighbourhood chargers globally, as of December 31, 2025. This extensive network ensures convenient charging access and comprehensive support for riders, further enhancing the practicality of electric two-wheeler ownership.
