HYDERABAD
EVRE, a leading player in India’s electric vehicle infrastructure sector, has announced the inauguration of its advanced EV charger manufacturing unit in the Patancheru Industrial Development Area, Hyderabad. This significant development marks a major milestone in the company’s mission to support the growth of electric mobility in India.
The newly opened facility has an initial manufacturing capacity of up to 5,000 EV chargers per month. Over the next few months, EVRE plans to produce 20,000 chargers to meet demand from its current order book. By 2026, the plant’s production capacity is expected to double to 10,000 units monthly, underscoring the company’s focus on scalability and supporting the accelerating adoption of EVs in India.
The unit will manufacture EVRE’s full range of chargers, from 3.3 kW AC chargers to high-capacity 360 kW DC chargers. The facility will emphasize delivering high-quality products tailored for both Indian and international markets.
Mr. Krishna K Jasti, Founder and CEO of EVRE, shared the company’s broader vision for the new plant, saying, “As one of the highest EV adopting markets in the world, India stands at the crossroads of requiring efficient chargers that not only offer optimum solutions, but are also of premium quality. At EVRE, we are targeting large residential complexes across India that have little to no access to EV charging infrastructure, bringing premium EV charging experience at the doorstep of every user so they do not need to depend on public chargers with significant downtimes. Furthermore, we also aim to establish India as an EV charger manufacturing powerhouse with our proprietary technology with up to 70% localization, also contributing towards the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.”
The state-of-the-art facility is also expected to generate over 50 local jobs, contributing to Hyderabad’s economic development while advancing the country’s shift toward sustainable transport. The plant features custom-built automated testing benches for PCBs, components, and fully assembled chargers. This enables efficient and accurate testing, significantly reducing errors and ensuring that each unit meets stringent quality standards.
The launch of this manufacturing unit strengthens EVRE’s commitment to building a robust EV infrastructure ecosystem in India. Through its phased manufacturing strategy and technology-driven approach, the company aims to accelerate the transition from conventional vehicles to clean, green electric mobility.
