At EICMA 2025, Hero MotoCorp signalled a new era for global mobility with an expansive showcase of electric and performance machines. Under its electric mobility brand VIDA, the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer unveiled a futuristic electric portfolio, alongside next-generation internal-combustion motorcycles developed between India and Germany.

“At Hero MotoCorp, we envision the Future of Mobility at the powerful intersection of technology, sustainability, and human ambition,” said Dr Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp. “Our showcase at EICMA 2025 brings our vision ‘Be the Future of Mobility’ to life.”

VIDA Novus Line: Intelligent, Human-Centric, Sustainable

Hero’s electric sub-brand VIDA took centre stage with the debut of the VIDA Novus lineage — three expressions of intelligent and sustainable mobility inspired by its core philosophy, Life is Movement.

  • NEX 1: A portable, personal mobility solution designed to move with you.
  • NEX 2: A compact, self-balancing trike combining motorcycle excitement with three-wheel stability.
  • NEX 3: A sleek, all-weather personal EV delivering four-wheel comfort for both city and countryside.

Together, these concepts redefine what electric mobility can mean in everyday life — clean, connected, and profoundly human.

VIDA VX2, Ubex and Project VxZ: Expanding Global Horizons

Building on its Indian success, VIDA announced the European launch of the VX2 urban electric scooter. With a 125 km WMTC range, a top speed of 90 km/h, twin removable IP67-rated batteries and an IP68-rated drivetrain, the VX2 brings accessible, reliable electric mobility to new markets.

The brand also unveiled two dramatic global e-motorcycle concepts:

  • VIDA Concept Ubex – a Neo-Naked Urban Explorer with modular architecture, futuristic design and advanced connectivity.
  • VIDA Project VxZ – developed in collaboration with Zero Motorcycles (USA), this cutting-edge platform sets new benchmarks in high-performance electric mobility.

Together, they mark a bold stride in Hero’s global electrification journey.

VIDA DIRT.E Series: Ride Beyond the Wild

Hero also revealed the VIDA DIRT.E Series, a new generation of electric off-road motorcycles for those who “Ride Beyond the Wild.”

  • DIRT.E K3: The first electric motorcycle for children aged 4–10, featuring three adjustable sizes. It recently won the Red Dot Design Concept Award 2025 and will debut in Europe and India.
  • DIRT.E MX7 Racing Concept: Lightweight, Dakar-inspired and engineered for endurance, it blends Hero’s rally expertise with cutting-edge EV technology.
ICE Icons: Hunk 440 SX and Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition

Alongside its EV line-up, Hero showcased two Euro5+-compliant ICE motorcycles for global markets.

  • Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition: Celebrating Hero’s 2024 FIM World Title and Dakar Rally podium, this rally-ready machine features a 210 cc DOHC engine, rally-grade suspension with 280 mm travel and 270 mm ground clearance.
  • Hunk 440 SX: A modern scrambler powered by a 440 cc oil-cooled engine with Ride-by-Wire, multiple ride modes and switchable ABS with traction control. Built on a high-strength perimeter frame with long-travel suspension, it’s equally at home in the city or on the trail.
Hero MotoCorp: Leading the Charge

With this sweeping showcase, Hero MotoCorp reinforces its role as a global mobility powerhouse, harmonising sustainability and performance across both electric and internal-combustion domains.

From the human-centred innovation of VIDA Novus to the rally-bred precision of Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition, Hero’s EICMA 2025 line-up captures a single, resounding message — the future of mobility is already in motion.
