Hyundai IONIQ 6 N clinches prestigious 2026 World Performance Car Award

Hyundai Motor Company has achieved a remarkable milestone as the IONIQ 6 N secures the title of World Performance Car at the 22nd World Car Awards, announced live at the 2026 New York International Auto Show.

The IONIQ 6 N defines electric high-performance with:

• Thrilling Power: Up to 641 hp with N Grin Boost, 0–62 mph in 3.2 seconds.
• Immersive Driving: N e-Shift delivers a genuine gearshift feel; N Active Sound+ enhances the auditory experience.
• Rapid Charging: 84.0 kWh battery charges from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes using a 350-kW charger.

This marks Hyundai’s fifth consecutive year of recognition at the World Car Awards, reinforcing a legacy of innovation and leadership in electric mobility. Previous accolades include: IONIQ 5 N (2024), IONIQ 6 (2023), and INSTER (CASPER Electric, 2025).
