Škoda Auto Volkswagen India debuts in Bharat NCAP rating, receives full 5-star Safety rating for Kylaq

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India proudly announces that Škoda Kylaq, the Group’s first vehicle, participated in Bharat NCAP testing and has achieved a full 5-star rating for both adult and child occupants. Bharat NCAP rating is the prestigious domestic new car safety assessment program initiated by the Indian Government to ensure safety of the occupants. This achievement is a testament to the Group’s commitment to offering #MadeInIndia vehicles that adhere to the stringent domestic and global safety standards. Škoda Auto Volkswagen India’s first sub-4-metre SUV, Škoda Kylaq has been designed and developed specifically for the evolving needs of the Indian customers. Kylaq is the safest ICE car in the segment to receive 5-stars rating with 30.88 point out of 32.00 (97%) in adult occupant protection and 45 points out of 49 points (92%) in child occupant protection, making it the top-performing vehicle in the ICE sub-4-metre compact SUV segment. This underscores the Group’s commitment of bringing world-class vehicles ‘Made in India’ tailored for both domestic and international markets.
