Mercedes-Benz drives in over 1000 BHP in a day; launches the AMG C 63 Coupé & AMG GT R Coupé in India

India’s largest luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz, today, strengthened its position in the luxury performance segment by adding two new models to its coveted high-performance AMG line-up. The Born Bold – AMG C 63 Coupé and by the racers for the racers– AMG GT R Coupé are the latest additions to the Mercedes-AMG portfolio in India. With the introduction of these two new AMGs, Mercedes-Benz India firmly underlines its strong presence in the performance car segment, which grew at a robust 54% in 2019. Mercedes-AMG has established its position as a highly successful sports car and performance brand with numerous attainments from motorsports for developing unique road-going vehicles. Both the new AMG Coupés continue to raise the bar for design innovation, class performance and cutting-edge technology. Martin Schwenk, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India digitally launched the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupé and AMG GT R Coupé at the company’s Centre of Excellence in Chakan, Pune.
