Tata Motors has introduced a new Adventure X Persona for its flagship SUVs—the Harrier and Safari—marking a bold step in the evolution of the brand’s premium SUV portfolio. Positioned as the most capable and feature-laden avatars in the range, the Adventure X and Adventure X+ offer a compelling blend of technology, capability, and design, starting at ₹18.99 lakh for the Harrier and ₹19.99 lakh for the Safari (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
This new persona brings a suite of segment-first and segment-leading features, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with Adaptive Cruise Control, 360° HD Surround View, Trail Hold Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, and Land Rover-inspired Trail Response Modes. Additional highlights include a Command Shifter derived from Land Rover, Ergo Lux Driver Seat with Memory and Welcome functions, an expansive 26.03 cm Ultra-View Twin Screen System, Aqua Sense Wipers, and Multi Drive Modes tailored for city and off-road use.
The Adventure X is offered in both Harrier and Safari with distinct interior themes. The Harrier Adventure X features Onyx Trail interiors with black leatherette and tan accents, while the Safari version is adorned with Adventure Oak Interiors in a tan oak leatherette finish.
Built on Tata Motors’ OMEGARC architecture—based on Land Rover’s D8 platform—and powered by the proven 2.0L KRYOTEC diesel engine, these SUVs retain their commanding stance and authentic SUV proportions, underscored by distinctive alloy designs: R17 Titan Forged for the Harrier and R18 Apex Forged for the Safari.
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., stated: “The Harrier and Safari have always stood for more than just mobility — they represent status, purpose, and a deep-rooted desire for an adventurous lifestyle. With the introduction of the Adventure X persona, we’ve modernised these icons for a new era — one that champions individuality, precision-crafted design, and intelligent capability – all while offering more value per car. Designed for those who seek authenticity, capability, and expression in equal measure, the Adventure X is positioned at a compelling price point in the segment, offering class leading features. Furthermore, with this new persona, we have also reimagined the Harrier and Safari line completely, making the range more intuitive, streamlined, and value-rich than ever before in the high SUV space.”
As part of this update, Tata Motors has streamlined its Harrier and Safari portfolios with a refined persona structure, enhanced features across variants, and new colour options. The introduction of the Pure X variant also expands access to a more value-oriented SUV proposition.
