NEW DELHI
Renault India has officially launched the all-new Renault Duster, with introductory turbo petrol prices commencing at INR 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Dispatches of the SUV are already underway across the country, signalling the brand’s renewed push in India’s fiercely contested mid-size SUV segment.
Underpinned by the advanced Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), the new Duster has been engineered with a clear emphasis on structural robustness, efficiency and future-readiness. Its authentic SUV stance is complemented by best-in-segment approach and departure angles, along with generous ground clearance, reinforcing its off-road pedigree while retaining everyday practicality.
At the heart of the new Duster lies the Turbo TCe 160 powertrain, delivering 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed wet-clutch dual-clutch transmission, specifically calibrated for Indian conditions, or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The SUV’s ride and handling characteristics have been validated by IDIADA, with extensive tuning carried out to ensure composure, comfort and stability across diverse Indian road conditions. The result is a driving experience that balances performance with refinement—hallmarks that have long defined the Duster nameplate.
Inside, the Duster adopts a driver-focused cockpit with improved ergonomics, enhanced outward visibility and superior seating comfort. A key highlight is the OpenR Link multimedia system with integrated Google Automotive Services, offering seamless access to Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play.
The all-new Duster is offered in five trims—Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+ and Iconic—each progressively enhancing the SUV’s appeal with advanced features.

From full LED lighting and panoramic sunroof to ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree camera, the Duster delivers a comprehensive equipment list. Safety is equally robust, with 17 ADAS features and a wide array of standard protections.
Renault reports that the Turbo TCe 160 variant has driven significant early demand, accounting for over 90 per cent of petrol bookings. Customers can avail a special introductory price of INR 10.29 lakh until March 31, 2026, through the R-Pass pre-booking programme.
Enhancing ownership appeal further, Renault is offering flexible subscription models alongside a 7-year Renault Forever warranty for customers adhering to scheduled maintenance at authorised service centres.
According to Francisco Hidalgo, “The new Renault Duster reflects exactly what Indian customers expect today: strong performance, real-world durability and everyday usability. With 163 PS from the Turbo TCe 160 and the advanced RGMP platform, it delivers genuine gains in ride, handling and robustness. Backed by flexible ownership options including subscription and a 7-year warranty, the SUV is engineered for how India actually drives.”
In line with evolving mobility trends, Renault is also introducing the E-Tech Strong Hybrid variant, pairing a 1.8-litre engine with a 1.4 kWh battery. This system enables up to 80 per cent EV driving in urban conditions, striking an effective balance between efficiency and performance.
Notably, nearly 40 per cent of customers in major metro markets opted for the hybrid during pre-bookings. Renault has confirmed that its planned hybrid production capacity for 2026 is already fully allocated, with bookings expected to reopen ahead of deliveries scheduled around Diwali.
The entry-level Authentic trim offers essential features including LED lighting, a 7-inch TFT display, rear AC vents and 35 standard safety features such as six airbags, TPMS, HSA and ESP.
The Evolution variant builds on this with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10.1-inch OpenR Link system, wireless smartphone connectivity, cruise control and a rear-view camera.

Techno introduces premium enhancements such as a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, connected car technology, wireless charging and dual-zone climate control.
Techno+ bridges the gap with 18-inch alloy wheels, acoustic windshield, blind spot warning, hill descent control and a larger 10.25-inch driver display.
At the top sits the Iconic trim, offering Google built-in services, ventilated electric front seats, leatherette upholstery, a 360-degree camera, ADAS suite, ambient lighting, air purification system and an Arkamys sound system.
Additionally, a special launch edition will feature distinctive cosmetic elements inspired by Himalayan adventure themes, including unique decals, yellow accents and bespoke alloy wheels.
With its compelling blend of performance, technology and versatility, the all-new Renault Duster reasserts its position as a formidable contender in India’s SUV landscape, while embracing electrification and digital integration for the road ahead.
