Renault celebrates 10 Years of KWID in India with Exclusive Anniversary Edition

Renault India has officially launched the KWID 10th Anniversary Edition, celebrating a decade of the brand’s presence in the Indian automotive market through its iconic and game-changing entry-level offering. Since its debut in 2015, the Renault KWID has stood as a testament to bold design, accessibility, and innovation, and has played a pivotal role in establishing the brand’s footprint in the country.

Limited to just 500 units, the 10th Anniversary Edition is available exclusively on the Techno variant (previously known as RXT), priced at INR 5.14 lakh for the manual transmission and ₹5.63 lakh for the AMT version — ex-showroom, pan-India. With this commemorative model, Renault aims to blend exclusivity with enhanced style and customer nostalgia, while reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-value mobility.

Aesthetically, the Renault KWID 10th Anniversary Edition introduces two striking dual-tone exterior colour schemes — Fiery Red with a contrasting Black Roof, and an all-new Shadow Grey with a Black Roof. Complementing these paint finishes are gloss black Flex Wheels, bespoke 10th Anniversary decals on the doors and C-pillar, and a bold yellow grille insert, which infuses a celebratory flair.

This new offering also carries the distinction of being India’s most accessible dual-tone vehicle, further underlining Renault’s focus on delivering style and substance at an affordable price point.

Inside, the special edition continues its celebratory theme with bespoke seat upholstery featuring 10th Anniversary branding, complemented by yellow contrast accents throughout the cabin. Highlights include yellow stitching on the leatherette steering wheel, infotainment bezel, and door trims. The addition of illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps further enhance its upmarket appeal.

Renault has also used the occasion to improve the safety credentials across the entire KWID range. All variants now come equipped with 3-point seatbelts for every passenger. Additionally, the Climber variant — the sportiest of the lineup — now offers six airbags as standard, further elevating occupant safety.

Renault has also updated the variant nomenclature in line with its global naming strategy. The former RXL, RXT, and Climber trims are now known as Evolution, Techno, and Climber, respectively.

The KWID range now begins at a competitive INR 4.29 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most value-focused offerings in its class. Furthermore, Renault continues to offer one of India’s most accessible automatic gearshift options, with the AMT variant priced from just INR 4.99 lakh.

Powering the KWID is a 1.0-litre SCe petrol engine, tuned for an ideal balance of efficiency and drivability. It is offered with either a manual gearbox or the user-friendly Easy-R AMT, catering to both urban and highway driving conditions. With an SUV-like ground clearance of 184mm and a robust suspension setup, the KWID confidently navigates varied terrains while delivering everyday practicality.
