Royal Enfield taking strides into the electric future has unveiled the inaugural model under its new urban mobility marque, Flying Flea—the Flying Flea C6. Designed with a singular focus on agility, tactility, and resilience, the FF.C6 marks the brand’s first foray into electric motorcycling and will be available from April 10 at its debut retail outpost in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Bookings open at 12pm on the same day, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence towards the end of May 2026.

An evocative nod to the original Flying Flea of the 1940s, engineered for frontline deployment, the contemporary Flying Flea C6 has been meticulously reimagined for the modern urban rider. It fuses nimble dynamics with sophisticated connected technologies, culminating in an experience that is as intuitive as it is engaging.

At its philosophical core, Flying Flea represents a seamless confluence of metallurgy, chemistry, and rider-centric innovation, where hardware and software function in perfect synchrony. Every detail of the FF.C6 has been carefully conceived not merely for visual distinction, but to elevate the tactile and functional experience of city riding. Engineered to connect, adapt, and evolve alongside its rider, the platform transforms advanced technology into a meaningful, everyday advantage.

The FF.C6’s architecture integrates advanced material science, intelligent energy management, and performance engineering. Its platform underscores enhanced performance, intelligence, and connectivity, anchored by core components such as the motor, battery, battery management system, and vehicle control software, ensuring deep integration and precise control.

Conceived from the ground up as a fully optimised electric motorcycle, the FF.C6 delivers an arresting blend of performance, efficiency, and neo-vintage design. With a top speed of 115 km/h and over 400 Nm of wheel torque, paired with a lightweight kerb weight of 124 kg, it promises brisk acceleration without compromising stability. This is further bolstered by lean-angle sensing ABS, traction control, and rider aids including tip-over alert and live location sharing.

Energy is supplied by a 3.91 kWh battery, complemented by seamless connectivity via WiFi, Bluetooth, and 4G, alongside remote monitoring capabilities. Charging remains both flexible and efficient, approximately 1% per minute, with Rapid, Standard, and Trickle charging options compatible with a universal wall outlet.

Offered in Storm Black and Flea Green, the Flying Flea C6 is priced at INR 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with a Battery-as-a-Service option available at INR 1.99 lakh. The rollout strategy will follow a phased, city-by-city approach.

Speaking on the launch, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “We are excited to introduce the Flying Flea C6, marking our first step into electric motorcycling in our 125th year – a milestone that reflects both our legacy and our intent for new beginnings. For over a century, Royal Enfield has been driven by a singular pursuit: to create pure, engaging motorcycling experiences. With Flying Flea, we are carrying this philosophy into the electric era. This is not just about going electric- it is about creating a new category of urban mobility that is rooted in experience, not just specifications or numbers. The FF.C6 has been built by a dedicated team with deep in-house expertise across hardware and software, resulting in an agile, design and technology-led motorcycle that feels intuitive, connected, and alive to the rider. For the launch of FF.C6, we are taking a steady, city-by-city approach and will initially roll it out in phases. With Flying Flea we are not just introducing a motorcycle, we are shaping the future of riding and welcoming a new generation of riders into the world of Royal Enfield. We have a strong pipeline of electric two-wheelers that will continue to build on our vision over time.”
