Ultraviolette, the pioneering electric vehicle manufacturer, has today unveiled a strategic investment from TDK Ventures, the corporate venture capital division of TDK Corporation (TSE: 6762). This significant collaboration marks a crucial step forward in Ultraviolette’s mission to produce high-performance, globally competitive electric vehicles that embody the essence of Indian innovation and engineering excellence.
TDK Ventures joins an esteemed consortium of institutional investors backing Ultraviolette, which includes Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, Speciale Invest, Lingotto (formerly Exor Capital), and TVS Motor Company. The company has also attracted the support of prominent individual investors, including Sriharsha Majety, Co-founder and CEO of Swiggy; Ankit Nagori, Co-founder of Cure Foods and former Chief Business Officer of Flipkart; Aprameya Radhakrishna, Co-founder of TaxiForSure; and Dulquer Salmaan, the renowned actor and automotive enthusiast.
Founded with the vision of designing electric vehicles that merge futuristic aesthetics with cutting-edge engineering, Ultraviolette has raised the bar in the EV industry.
