CHENNAI
In a decisive stride towards its ambitious electric mobility vision for India, VinFast Auto India has inaugurated its largest showroom in the country. Located in the heart of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, this flagship retail space marks a significant milestone in the brand’s nationwide expansion and its commitment to redefining electric vehicle ownership for Indian consumers.
Promoted by the well-respected Maansarovar Motors, a trusted name within Chennai’s automotive retail circles, the new showroom is strategically situated in Teynampet—an area known for its connectivity, visibility, and premium real estate. Spanning an impressive 4,700 square feet, it stands as VinFast’s most expansive facility in India to date, designed to deliver an immersive and seamless brand experience.
The showroom will showcase VinFast’s premium electric SUV range, including the much-anticipated VF 6 and VF 7 models, offering Chennai’s discerning motorists access to world-class design, cutting-edge EV technology, and sustainable motoring solutions.
Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, remarked, “Chennai’s legacy and its thriving ecosystem of innovation, skilled talent, and advanced infrastructure make it a natural choice for VinFast’s first-ever dealership in Tamil Nadu, which is also our largest touchpoint across the country. With this dealership, we are proud to deepen our commitment to this dynamic city and bring our premium electric mobility solutions closer to discerning customers in Tamil Nadu. Chennai represents the spirit of progress, and through our partnership with Maansarovar Motors, we aim to redefine the EV ownership journey — combining sustainability, technology, and world-class service. This marks not just a retail milestone, but a meaningful step toward co-creating a greener, smarter, and future-ready India.”

This showroom is one of 35 dealerships VinFast aims to establish across more than 27 Indian cities by the end of 2025. The company’s concerted focus on building a robust, customer-centric ecosystem reflects its larger goal: to become a leading force in India’s electric vehicle revolution.
Pre-bookings for VinFast’s premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, officially commenced on 15th July 2025. Customers may reserve their vehicles either via the exclusive showroom network or through the brand’s official website, VinFastAuto.in, with a fully refundable booking amount of INR 21,000.
Further underpinning its commitment to the Indian market, VinFast has forged strategic partnerships with key industry players including RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure. These alliances will play a pivotal role in developing a nationwide EV charging infrastructure and ensuring comprehensive after-sales support.
Additionally, VinFast has entered into a collaboration with BatX Energies, a prominent Indian clean-tech firm, to promote sustainable battery recycling and contribute towards establishing a circular battery economy—underscoring the brand’s commitment to responsible innovation and environmental stewardship.
As India transitions towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced future in mobility, VinFast’s Chennai showroom stands not only as a retail hub, but as a testament to the brand’s long-term vision and deepening investment in the country’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
