Nissan announced today that the New Nissan Magnite’s BR10 naturally aspirated engine is now fully E20 compliant, following the 1.0L HR10 turbocharged engine’s compatibility update in August 2024. With this, all Magnite powertrains are now E20-compatible.
In a major milestone, Nissan Motor India also revealed that the Magnite has reached 50,000 units in export sales. This achievement aligns with the company’s strategy to boost both domestic and export volumes, positioning India as a key export hub. The introduction of the LHD version in January 2025 has significantly contributed to this growth.
February 2025 saw Nissan record 8,567 wholesale dispatches, a 97% year-on-year growth, with 2,328 units sold domestically and 6,239 units exported. This surge underscores the strong global demand for the Magnite and highlights the growing preference for ‘Made in India’ vehicles.
In January 2025, Nissan Motor India began exporting the Left-Hand Drive (LHD) variant of the New Nissan Magnite, shipping nearly 2,900 units from Chennai’s Kamarajar Port to LATAM markets. By February, the company had exported over 2,000 units to the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific, with more than 5,100 units heading to select Latin American markets. By month’s end, total LHD Magnite shipments exceeded 10,000 units, underscoring Nissan’s ‘One Car, One World’ strategy and solidifying India as a key export hub.
Now available in over 65 countries, the New Nissan Magnite combines bold design, premium features, and a growing global presence. With 20+ first-in-segment features and 55+ safety attributes, it continues to stand out in the compact SUV market.
