Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has reached a major milestone, producing 500,000 locally-manufactured engines at its cutting-edge facility in Chakan, Pune. This achievement highlights the company’s growing manufacturing capabilities and its commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, while providing powertrain solutions to both domestic and international markets.The production milestone further strengthens India’s position as a key manufacturing and export hub for the Volkswagen Group.
