The partnership between two of Italy’s most revered industrial icons, Ducati and Lamborghini, has long captivated enthusiasts with its fusion of performance, design, and heritage. This prestigious collaboration, rooted in a shared passion for racing excellence, continues to yield exceptional creations that thrill collectors and motorbike aficionados across the globe.

“The partnership between two undisputed symbols of Italian industry, Ducati and Lamborghini, has always been fertile ground for the creation of unique projects capable of quickening the pulse of motorbike enthusiasts and collectors all over the world, thanks to the shared racing DNA of the two manufacturers.”

Now, following a legacy of critically acclaimed ventures, this celebrated union enters an exciting new chapter. The latest expression of their unparalleled synergy will be officially unveiled at the Milano Design Week on 9th April, an event synonymous with sophistication and innovation.

“With a history rich in successes, this collaboration now embarks on an exciting new chapter. The latest extraordinary expression of this synergy will be unveiled during the Milano Design Week, on April 9th.”

Previous Ducati and Lamborghini collaborations have underscored the creative and technical potential that emerges when two brands pursue shared values. These include a steadfast commitment to the authenticity of ‘Made in Italy’, a relentless drive for sporting brilliance, and a vision for pioneering design.

“The previous collaborations between Ducati and Lamborghini have shown how the pursuit of shared values – such as the authenticity of ‘Made in Italy’, a vocation for sporting brilliance and pioneering design – can spawn truly original projects.”

The first embodiment of this vision came in the form of the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, a motorcycle inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. Revealed on 25th November 2020, this exclusive edition was limited to just 630 units, reinterpreting the iconic supercar’s unmistakable design language in two-wheeled form.

“The first example was the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and presented on 25 November 2020 in a limited edition of 630 models. This was a motorbike that reinterpreted the stylistic hallmarks of one of the brand’s most iconic cars.”

Based on the Ducati Diavel 1260 S, the Lamborghini edition underwent a meticulous transformation, reflecting the core elements of Lamborghini’s design philosophy. Both brands share a devotion to advanced materials, evident in the extensive use of carbon fibre, a hallmark of Sant’Agata Bolognese’s approach to performance.

“Developed based on the Ducati Diavel 1260 S, the Lamborghini version was transformed in terms of its most distinctive elements. The predilection for fine lightweight materials, a characteristic trait of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-manufactured super sports cars, and shared by Ducati, was translated into wide use of carbon fibre for numerous components of the bike to further elevate its performance.”

“The design of the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was born from the creative synergy between the Ducati Centro Stile and the Lamborghini Centro Stile, combining the stylistic authenticity of both marques.”

Building upon this success, the second project—the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini—made its debut at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in September 2022. Inspired by the formidable Lamborghini Huracán STO, this model encapsulated the aggressive performance and aerodynamic precision of the track-focused supercar.

“The success of this first project laid solid foundations for an equally exciting second chapter: the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the uncompromising power and extreme engineering of the Lamborghini Huracán STO.”

“Presented at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in September 2022, this model further strengthened the bond between the two brands, conveying the style and performance of a genuine Lamborghini super sports car to a motorcycle.”

With 630 units produced, along with an additional 63 special editions reserved exclusively for Lamborghini clients, this limited-edition motorbike epitomised the brands’ dedication to authenticity, exclusivity, and performance.

“This limited and numbered edition was also a remarkable success, with 630 units and an additional 63 exclusive units dedicated to Lamborghini customers in a clear acknowledgment of the authenticity and originality of the project.”

As anticipation builds, the third chapter in this prestigious collaboration is set to be unveiled at the Milano Design Week, where innovation and elegance converge.

“Now, excitement is growing around the third chapter of this amazing partnership. Ducati and Lamborghini are ready to celebrate their union, built on extreme performance, cutting-edge engineering and a shared performance DNA, during the prestigious Milano Design Week on 9 April.”
