Volkswagen unveils iconic Golf GTI in India

Volkswagen has officially launched the latest Mk 8.5 Golf GTI in India, priced at INR 52.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). The iconic hot hatch has already generated significant demand, reportedly selling out even before its official launch.

The new Golf GTI Mk 8.5 is engineered for pure driving pleasure. It comes equipped with a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine delivering 265 PS and 370 Nm of torque. This powertrain enables the GTI to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Combined with sharp handling and dynamic styling, the GTI offers an ideal mix of style and performance.

The Golf GTI will be available in four colours: Kings Red Metallic, Oryx White Pearl, Moonstone Grey, and Grenadilla Black Metallic.
