Royal Enfield, the world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production, has reached an extraordinary milestone — 125 years of “Pure Motorcycling.” At EICMA 2025, the iconic brand unveiled a series of exciting new motorcycles and bold innovations, reflecting both its storied past and a dynamic future.
This year, Royal Enfield’s display at EICMA served as a tribute not only to the brand’s illustrious history but also to its vision of the future. From its early days in 1901 to its global influence today, Royal Enfield has been a defining force in motorcycling culture — from the sun-drenched streets of Chennai to the misty heights of the Himalayas, and from the spirited streets of London to the winding trails of the Amazon. Now, at EICMA, Royal Enfield is poised to chart the next phase of its journey with an exciting array of new releases and concepts.
Speaking at the event, Siddhartha Lal, Executive Chairman of Eicher Motors Ltd., remarked, “For 125 years, Royal Enfield has stood as an enduring symbol of authenticity, craftsmanship, and the pure joy of motorcycling. What began as a simple pursuit of building honest, beautiful motorcycles has evolved into a global culture that celebrates exploration, community, and self-expression. This incredible milestone is not just about looking back on our legacy, but looking ahead with clarity and conviction.”
Royal Enfield’s plans for the next 125 years are clear, with innovations that honour the brand’s history while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in motorcycling. Among the highlights of this year’s EICMA were the unveiling of the Electric Himalayan Testbed and the stunning Flying Flea city+ concept. These forward-thinking models demonstrate Royal Enfield’s commitment to combining timeless design with cutting-edge engineering, ushering in a new era of motorcycling for enthusiasts worldwide.
New Models and Limited Editions
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director and CEO of Royal Enfield, elaborated on the significance of this year’s showcase: “EICMA 2025 is as much a celebration of our 125-year heritage as it is a showcase of our evolution. The motorcycles unveiled here represent our commitment to timeless design, purposeful innovation, and the spirit of Pure Motorcycling. We are honouring our heritage by unveiling the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Special Edition, a seamless blend of legacy and modern innovation.”
The unveiling of the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 was a standout moment. This model, an evolution of one of the most iconic motorcycles ever made, features a 650cc parallel twin engine and a distinctive vintage design. With its graceful lines, commanding presence, and unmistakable character, the Bullet 650 encapsulates the essence of Royal Enfield — a perfect balance of tradition and innovation.
Equally impressive was the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Special Edition, which blends the brand’s signature retro charm with modern advancements. Designed to celebrate the company’s enduring legacy, this special edition brings an elegant twist to the ever-popular Classic series.

Royal Enfield also introduced the Himalayan Mana Black Edition, a rugged homage to the formidable Mana Pass route. The Himalayan remains one of the most revered adventure motorcycles, and this special edition enhances its already indomitable spirit.

Another captivating moment was the Shotgun x Rough Crafts collaboration, showcasing a custom-built motorcycle that marries Royal Enfield’s neo-retro design with Rough Crafts’ unique aesthetic. This limited edition bike celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship that define custom motorcycle culture, adding yet another dimension to Royal Enfield’s portfolio.

The Electric Revolution
Royal Enfield is also eyeing a bold electric future with the Flying Flea FF.S6, a Scrambler-styled motorcycle that promises to redefine the urban exploration segment within the electric vehicle space. The FF.S6, set for launch in 2026, combines sophistication, versatility, and agility, setting new benchmarks for electric motorcycles across the globe.

The Electric Himalayan Testbed also made its debut at EICMA, an early glimpse into Royal Enfield’s long-term electric strategy. By blending the brand’s signature ruggedness with sustainable technology, the Testbed represents the next step in a journey that merges Royal Enfield’s legendary heritage with a greener, more sustainable future.
Bullet 650 – The Ultimate Classic
Since 1932, the Bullet has remained a steadfast symbol of endurance, with each new iteration honouring the brand’s rich British-Indian lineage. The Bullet 650 brings a powerful new chapter to this enduring legend, with a more potent 650cc parallel twin engine. The bike retains its classic elements — the iconic tiger lamps, hand-painted pinstripes, and vintage-inspired badges — all while offering modern performance, including a smooth six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch for effortless riding.

Whether cruising through city streets or embarking on long, spirited rides, the Bullet 650 delivers an experience that is both authentic and exhilarating, all while remaining true to the original’s simplicity and enduring charm.
As Royal Enfield enters its next 125 years, it continues to offer riders around the world an unparalleled combination of heritage, innovation, and the pure joy of motorcycling. With these new models and ambitious plans for the future, the brand is set to redefine the boundaries of what motorcycling can be.
