Suzuki launches the New Burgman Street in India – A blend of elegance, comfort and performance

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has raised the bar in India’s rapidly expanding luxury scooter segment with the launch of the all-new second-generation Burgman Street. First introduced in 2018, the Burgman Street quickly became one of the fastest-growing models in the 125cc segment, and the latest iteration promises to build on this momentum with a focus on superior design, refined performance, and enhanced everyday usability.

Drawing on the deep insights garnered from years of success in the Indian market, the new Burgman Street arrives with a clear sense of purpose. Developed under the concept of ‘ONE & ONLY’, this model offers a unique blend of high-end design, outstanding comfort, and real-world practicality that remains unmatched in its class. With two distinct variants—the Burgman Street Ride Connect Edition and the Burgman Street Ride Connect TFT Edition—the new scooter caters to a wide range of customer preferences while ensuring a truly premium experience.

The all-new Burgman Street redefines the boundaries of style, comfort, and performance. Crafted to cater to the needs of the discerning urban rider, the scooter now features a new, lightweight yet rigid frame that enhances manoeuvrability and improves handling. A tuned suspension setup and a longer wheelbase ensure superior stability, while the Combined Brake System guarantees well-balanced braking performance in all conditions.

For riders who value comfort, the Burgman Street continues to offer a long, plush seat, flexible floorboards, and dedicated front footboards, making it a perfect choice for both daily commutes and long-distance rides. The emphasis on practicality extends to a 5.5-litre fuel tank, providing an extended range for more effortless journeys.

A major highlight of the new Burgman Street is its “Sleek Modern” design, which fuses sharpness with elegance. The curvaceous bodywork is accentuated by bold character lines, giving the scooter a distinct road presence. Signature features such as body-mounted split-lens LED headlights with integrated position lights, compact LED turn signals, and an updated LED rear combination light only enhance its luxurious appeal. The metallic-finish emblems, dark smoked windscreen, and stylish upswept muffler further elevate the scooter’s premium aesthetics.

At the heart of the new Burgman Street lies Suzuki’s trusted Eco Performance (SEP) engine platform, drawn from the ACCESS series. The 124cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine generates a smooth 6.2 kW of power and 10.2 Nm of torque, designed for a seamless balance of low-to-mid-range performance. This ensures responsive acceleration, delivering a refined and smooth ride in any urban or suburban setting.

The Burgman Street also benefits from a redesigned grab bar and aluminium pillion footpegs, further enhancing comfort and quality for the rider and passenger alike.

Utility and convenience are at the core of the Burgman Street’s design. Riders will appreciate the expanded underseat storage compartment of 24.6 litres, along with front storage pockets, dual utility hooks, and a USB charging outlet for added practicality. Suzuki’s Easy Start System, side stand interlock, and waterproof switches are included for everyday ease and reliability.

For those opting for the Burgman Street Ride Connect TFT Edition, the 4.2-inch colour TFT LCD screen and keyless entry system promise a more advanced and seamless interface. Pricing and Availability
The all-new Suzuki Burgman Street will be available across Suzuki dealerships in India starting April 8, 2026. The new scooter is offered in two variants, with the Ride Connect Edition priced at INR 101,944 (Ex-Showroom Delhi), while the Ride Connect TFT Edition is priced at INR 113,220 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
