Nissan Motor India has taken a substantial stride in its Indian journey with the opening of 54 new customer touchpoints across the nation during the first quarter of 2026. This significant expansion, spanning multiple cities, represents a pivotal chapter in the company’s strategy to deepen its presence in the country.
The newly unveiled facilities comprise a strategic mix of 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts), 2S, and 1S outlets, meticulously positioned to optimise customer reach and convenience. The expansion underlines Nissan Motor India’s broader product offensive, ensuring that the launch of upcoming models, including the All-New Nissan GRAVITE, the soon-to-be-launched All-New Nissan TEKTON and C-SUV 7-seater, along with the popular New Nissan MAGNITE, is matched by an equally robust network presence.
Commenting on this milestone, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, stated, “The opening of 54 new customer touchpoints across India in Q1 2026 marks an important milestone in Nissan’s growth journey in India. As we strengthen our product portfolio with the launch of the All-New Nissan GRAVITE, soon to be launched All-New Nissan TEKTON & C-SUV 7-seater along with our popular New Nissan MAGNITE; network expansion continues to be a critical pillar of our strategy. This growth underlines our commitment to improving accessibility, enhancing customer reach, brand experience while progressing towards our goal of 400 touchpoints by the end of FY 27.”

The expansion arrives at a time of notable momentum for Nissan in India. In March 2026, the brand recorded cumulative sales of 10,388 units, including domestic wholesales of 4,408 units—a five-year high—representing a remarkable 98% growth. Exports contributed an additional 5,980 units, reflecting the strength of Nissan’s India-focused strategy. The sustained popularity of the New Nissan MAGNITE has provided a solid platform for growth, further reinforced by the imminent launch of the All-New Nissan GRAVITE.
Through these network developments and customer-centric initiatives, Nissan continues to reaffirm its long-term commitment to the Indian market, blending strategic expansion with a focus on delivering premium value to discerning Indian buyers.
