Marelli has formalised a significant new alliance with Toyota Racing, marking its entry as an official partner to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar programme under an initial two-year agreement.
This strategic collaboration between Marelli, a global technology partner with over a century of automotive and motorsport pedigree, and Toyota Racing, underscores the growing importance of cross-industry expertise in shaping the next frontier of high-performance mobility. It also reinforces the enduring relevance of motorsport as a crucible for innovation.
At the heart of the partnership lies a shared commitment to engineering excellence and technological advancement. By combining Marelli’s deep-rooted capabilities in endurance racing systems with Toyota Racing’s relentless pursuit of performance, the collaboration is poised to unlock new pathways in the development of future-ready race machinery.

Particular emphasis will be placed on advancing powertrain technologies and enhancing energy efficiency—two areas that remain pivotal not only within the fiercely competitive FIA World Endurance Championship landscape, but also in translating motorsport-derived innovations to road-going applications.
