Avore Electric, India’s homegrown technology-first electric motorcycle manufacturer from the house of Samarth E-Mobility, has officially entered the electric motorcycle segment with the launch of the Avore Electric EX (Avore Electric Elevated Experience). The company’s maiden electric motorcycle was unveiled by Hon’ble Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, marking an important milestone in India’s rapidly evolving electric mobility landscape.

The EX range is available in three variants, EX 2S, EX 2 and EX 1, with prices beginning at Rs. 1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Developed entirely from the ground up, the motorcycle has been engineered to redefine electric motorcycling through indigenous technology, intelligent engineering and everyday practicality.

The philosophy behind Avore Electric is fundamentally different. Rather than treating intelligence as an additional feature, the company has designed the motorcycle with intelligence at its core from the very beginning. This thinking is reflected in the brand’s tagline, ‘Intelligence Beyond Motion’.

The Avore Electric EX introduces an aspirational yet timeless design language that has been tailored specifically for Indian riders. The motorcycle has been conceived to make the transition from conventional ICE motorcycles to electric mobility feel natural—not only in terms of technology, but also through familiar ergonomics, riding posture and ownership experience.

Combining traditional motorcycle proportions with contemporary EV architecture, the EX distinguishes itself through dual-tone styling, signature tank lights and the flexibility of both manual and automatic riding modes. The design aims to resonate with conventional motorcycle enthusiasts while confidently expressing its next-generation electric credentials.

Powering the Avore Electric EX is a highly efficient rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), reinforcing the company’s commitment to indigenous sourcing, supply-chain resilience and long-term sustainability.

Depending on the chosen variant, the motorcycle produces between 7.5 kW and 10.5 kW of maximum power while delivering 250 Nm of peak wheel torque across the entire range. The EX 2S offers a top speed of 114 km/h, while both the EX 2 and EX 1 reach 100 km/h.

Further enhancing the riding experience is what Avore Electric describes as an industry-first Integrated Motor + Swingarm Powertrain (Drive Link Arm). This architecture has been engineered to improve weight distribution, structural rigidity and handling dynamics, contributing to greater stability and enhanced rider confidence.

Range remains one of the primary concerns for prospective EV buyers, and Avore Electric has addressed this with competitive certified figures across the EX range.

The EX 2S delivers an IDC-certified range of 260 km, while the EX 2 offers 255 km. The entry-level EX 1 returns an IDC-certified range of 160 km.

Charging convenience has also been prioritised. Every variant comes equipped with a 1500W onboard fast charger, enabling charging through a standard 5A or 15A household socket without requiring dedicated charging infrastructure.

The battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in approximately two hours, while a complete 0-100% charge takes around four hours. The battery pack has been homologated by NATRAX, while the Battery Management System (BMS) has been validated by ICAT.

Staying true to its guiding philosophy, the Avore Electric EX integrates a comprehensive suite of proprietary intelligent technologies designed to deliver a more connected and intuitive riding experience.

At the centre of this ecosystem is AVORE SENSE, the company’s proprietary operating system, working alongside AVA (Avore Vehicle Assistance) and Avore Synapse, an AI-powered companion that enables more personalised interaction between rider and motorcycle. The system automatically captures ride statistics and rider insights, allowing users to seamlessly monitor every journey.

Performance-oriented technologies include Apex, the motorcycle’s top performance mode, and Syft, a manual gear mode designed to provide greater control over power delivery. These are complemented by ARS for intuitive rider inputs and the integrated Drive Link Arm architecture, which enhances balance, handling and overall riding dynamics.

Everyday usability has also received considerable attention. The EX features Flex Charge through its 1500W onboard fast charger, while Split Pack Energy—Avore’s side-by-side battery architecture—optimises packaging, thermal management and weight distribution.

Additional convenience and safety features include PAM+ Park Assist, Guide-Me-Home Lights, Auto Indicator Cut-off, Ahoy! Welcome Lights and Beacon signature tank lighting. Rider comfort is further enhanced through an ergonomically engineered Ergo Fit riding triangle, intended to improve comfort during both urban commutes and longer journeys.

Avore Electric states that the EX has been engineered to satisfy stringent safety, durability and quality standards suited to Indian road conditions.

The motorcycle has undergone more than 1,00,000 km of road testing, over 2,500 hours of dynamometer validation and extensive rider evaluation across varied operating environments.

The platform complies with AIS 156 and AIS 038 safety standards, while the battery is backed by a five-year or 60,000 km warranty, providing long-term ownership assurance.

Powering the EX is AVORE Source, the company’s proprietary technology stack, underpinned by the purpose-built AVR electric motorcycle platform.

Over the past three years, Avore Electric has developed more than nine critical vehicle systems entirely in-house at its dedicated Ahmedabad R&D centre. These include the Battery Management System (BMS), battery pack, motor, motor controller, power control module, DC-DC converter, onboard fast charger, display system and proprietary operating system.

The company has also filed more than 120 intellectual property applications, establishing one of India’s most comprehensive indigenous EV technology ecosystems. This vertically integrated development strategy enables tighter hardware-software integration while supporting improved quality, reliability and faster innovation.

Speaking on the milestone launch, Priyank Rakholiya, Avore Electric, Founder said, “We dedicated three years to research, development, testing, and validation before the launch of the EX so as to ensure class-leading engineering and innovation. We are ensuring global-levels of safety and performance, while pushing the frontiers of Indian-developed electric mobility technology stacks that deliver reliability, consistency, and economic viability. Our goal is to improve adoption and accessibility to world-class electric mobility solutions for every Indian and we are confident that the EX is just the start of our journey towards that direction.”

The Avore EX also becomes the first motorcycle across EV offerings to introduce premium dual-tone colour schemes.

The EX 2S and EX 2 will be available in Starlit Blue Dual Tone, Meteor Red Dual Tone and Stellar Black Dual Tone. Meanwhile, the EX 1 will be offered in Starlit Blue, Meteor Red and Stellar Black single-tone finishes.

The Avore Electric EX will arrive at showrooms across key Indian cities from next month onwards. Bookings have opened immediately on the official Avore Electric website, with reservation amounts starting at INR 799. Customer deliveries are scheduled to commence after two months.
