Lamborghini’s Esperienza Terra India sets new global altitude benchmark in Ladakh

Automobili Lamborghini has successfully concluded the inaugural edition of Esperienza Terra India, a six-day expedition through the spectacular landscapes of Ladakh that has become the brand’s highest-altitude driving experience ever conducted globally. Bringing together 18 customers and prospective customers from across India, the exclusive programme demonstrated the remarkable versatility, performance and driving dynamics of the Lamborghini Urus SE across one of the world’s most demanding driving environments.

Traversing roads that climbed beyond 5,300 metres, participants experienced the dramatic beauty of towering Himalayan passes, pristine alpine lakes and rugged mountain terrain unlike any previously explored by Lamborghini. From sweeping highways and gravel tracks to challenging high-altitude mountain roads, the Urus SE inspired confidence at every turn, delivering exceptional performance and driving exhilaration while reinforcing its position as the benchmark in the Super SUV segment.

The inaugural edition of Esperienza Terra India also coincided with Automobili Lamborghini’s 63rd anniversary. Since 1963, Lamborghini has continually challenged convention, pushing the boundaries of performance, innovation and design. That pioneering spirit continues today through extraordinary experiences that connect customers with some of the world’s most spectacular driving destinations.

Designed to take Lamborghini customers beyond conventional roads, Esperienza Terra showcases the remarkable breadth of capability of Lamborghini’s Super SUV while immersing participants in some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Over six meticulously curated days, guests explored some of Ladakh’s most iconic routes following acclimatisation in Leh. The expedition passed Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers before crossing Chang La Pass (5,360 m) en route to the breathtaking Pangong Tso. The journey then continued through Loma Bridge and Chumathang before culminating in the legendary ascent of Khardung La (5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads.

Throughout the expedition, the Lamborghini Urus SE demonstrated the advanced technologies that continue to define the Super SUV segment. Seamlessly adapting to rapidly changing terrain, extreme altitude and demanding road conditions, the vehicle delivered outstanding stability, precision and confidence while maintaining the comfort, refinement and exhilarating performance expected of a Lamborghini.
