Audi Q3, next-gen A5, and Q9 to lead Audi India’s product offensive
Audi India is preparing for a significant new phase of growth, with three new products, an expanded retail footprint and a sharper focus on customer experience set to underpin its strategy through 2027. The company will begin with the new Audi Q3 during the upcoming festive season, followed by the next-generation Audi A5 and flagship Audi Q9 in 2027.

MUMBAI
Audi India is entering its next phase of growth with an ambitious product and retail expansion strategy, as the luxury carmaker prepares to introduce three new models by 2027 while widening its presence beyond India’s major metropolitan centres.
The company’s product offensive will begin with the new Audi Q3, which is scheduled to arrive during the upcoming festive season. The next-generation Audi A5 and the flagship Audi Q9 will follow in 2027, giving Audi India a broader product portfolio across key segments of the luxury car market.
Alongside its new-model strategy, Audi India is also preparing for a substantial expansion of its retail network. The company plans to increase its network by over 25% by the end of 2027, with a particular emphasis on Tier-II and Tier-III markets. Existing dealerships are also being upgraded with Audi’s global Progressive Showroom concept, designed to deliver a more immersive and digital-first retail experience.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, said, “We are building the next phase of Audi India’s growth on the back of a strong pipeline of new products and continued investments in the market. As we introduce new models across segments, our focus is on offering greater choice and strengthening our presence in India’s luxury car market. We want to double our market share from the current 8% – in the next three years. “
The company’s expansion strategy extends beyond products and physical retail infrastructure, with Audi India also investing in its customer ecosystem. More than 2,500 sales and service professionals across the dealer network are being trained as the company seeks to strengthen the overall ownership experience.

Its Audi Approved Plus programme continues to play a role in this strategy, providing customers with a trusted and seamless pre-owned luxury car experience. Customer loyalty, meanwhile, remains a notable strength for the brand in India, with every third Audi sold in the country today being purchased by an existing Audi customer.
Audi India believes the country’s luxury car market offers considerable long-term potential, supported by rising affluence, increasing demand for premium mobility and a growing customer base outside the major metropolitan markets.
The company plans to expand its network to 40 showrooms by the end of next year. At the same time, it is targeting a doubling of its market share over the next three to five years, with the strategy resting on three principal pillars: a stronger product portfolio, a wider retail footprint and an enhanced customer experience.
The upcoming Audi Q3, next-generation Audi A5 and Audi Q9 will therefore form an important part of the company’s next chapter in India. Combined with greater retail reach and continued investment in its customer ecosystem, the strategy is aimed at strengthening Audi’s position in the country’s expanding luxury car market while bringing its global product offerings closer to customers across India.
