BMW X1 LWB pre-launch bookings open today ahead of 21 August India launch

BMW India will open pre-launch bookings for the new BMW X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) at 1500 Hrs today, 10 August 2026. The latest iteration of the luxury compact SUV will be locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai, underlining its positioning within BMW India’s local manufacturing portfolio.

Customers will be able to book the new BMW X1 LWB across the authorised BMW dealer network. Alternatively, those wishing to express their interest ahead of the launch can do so through the BMW India website.

The new BMW X1 LWB is scheduled to make its India debut on 21 August 2026.

With the Long Wheelbase treatment, BMW is positioning the new X1 LWB as a more spacious and comfort-focused interpretation of its luxury compact SUV formula.
