MG Hector Tomahawk is here with EV and PHEV powertrains
JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the new MG Hector Tomahawk, marking the first product engineered on the company's newly developed Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology (ADAPT), described as India's first Multi-New Energy Vehicle (NEV) platform. The new premium SUV will be offered with both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains, bringing together connected technology, premium comfort, advanced safety and electrified performance.
With introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing starting at INR 13.99 lakh + 4.90 INR/Km Battery Rental for the EV and INR 21.79 lakh + 3.20 INR/Km Battery Rental for the PHEV, the Hector Tomahawk broadens MG's NEV portfolio while offering Indian buyers a choice between two distinct electrified powertrain technologies.

JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the Hector Tomahawk, the first product engineered on its newly developed Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology (ADAPT), which the company describes as India’s first Multi-New Energy Vehicle (NEV) platform. The new SUV will be offered with both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains.
The Hector Tomahawk expands MG’s new-energy vehicle portfolio while combining premium comfort, intelligent technology, advanced safety and electrified performance. It will be available in both five- and seven-seat configurations in the EV, while the PHEV will be offered exclusively as a seven-seater.

For a limited number of bookings, the Hector Tomahawk EV will be available at an introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) price of ₹13.99 lakh + 4.90 Rs/Km Battery Rental, while the PHEV starts at ₹21.79 lakh + 3.20 Rs/Km Battery Rental under the same ownership model. Customers opting for full vehicle ownership can purchase the EV from ₹19.49 lakh, while the PHEV starts at ₹25.69 lakh, with all prices introductory and ex-showroom where applicable.
The Hector Tomahawk EV offers a certified range of 517 km, while the PHEV has a pure-electric driving range of over 115 km and a combined driving range of more than 1,100 km. The SUV also introduces India’s first Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capabilities.
Bookings are now open across MG dealerships in India and on the company’s website. Deliveries of the Hector Tomahawk EV will begin in September 2026, while PHEV test drives and deliveries will commence in November 2026.
