Kinetic DX+ launched with 3.1 kWh LFP battery and 132 km IDC range

Kinetic has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the upgraded DX+ 3.1 kWh, combining the iconic DX’s familiar all-metal design with a larger battery, increased range and modern electric technology. The new Kinetic DX+ gets a 3.1 kWh LFP battery offering a certified IDC range of up to 132 km on a single charge, alongside a 3.8 kW peak-power hub BLDC motor.

The biggest upgrade is the 3.1 kWh LFP battery, designed to balance range, durability and everyday usability. The DX+ also features K-Coast Tech for power regeneration, while its hub-mounted BLDC motor develops 3.8 kW of peak power. Riders can choose between Range and Power modes according to their requirements.

Charging convenience comes through the Easy Charge system, with 0–80 per cent charging taking approximately three hours. The scooter also gets Park Assist with Reverse, IP67 water and dust protection, telematics and a generous 37-litre under-seat storage compartment.

The DX+ rides on 12-inch tubeless tyres at both ends and has 165 mm of ground clearance and a 1,315 mm wheelbase. Braking is handled by a 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum, while the 714 mm seat length is designed to provide a comfortable riding position.

The Kinetic DX range is available in two variants: the DX 3 kWh is priced at INR 1,18,599 (ex-showroom), while the DX+ 3.1 kWh costs INR 1,27,650 (ex-showroom). The DX+ includes the retractable charging cable and telematics in its vehicle price.

The Kinetic Festive Offer provides a INR 2,000 benefit on the DX 3 kWh and ₹3,000 on the DX+, along with an INR 8,999 extended warranty on the DX+, ₹5,000 Amazon cashback and a INR 5,000 PME drive benefit.

The DX+ will be offered in Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red, while the DX 3 kWh comes in Black and Silver. With its larger battery, 132 km IDC range and modern electric technology, the DX+ carries the legacy of the Kinetic DX into a new electric chapter.
