Toyota Glanza 2026 gets Level 2 ADAS, Ventilated Seats and CNG AMT

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of the New Toyota Glanza, bringing sharper styling, upgraded cabin amenities and advanced safety technology to its popular hatchback. With prices starting at INR 6,99,000 (ex-showroom), the latest Glanza builds on the model’s established appeal with enhancements aimed at India’s evolving urban and rural mobility needs. Bookings are now open for INR 11,000.

Inspired by the campaign theme “Whatta Move”, the new model combines everyday practicality with a more premium driving experience, including the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and an AMT option for CNG variants.

The New Toyota Glanza adopts a bolder design inspired by Toyota’s global front-face styling, with a wide chrome grille accent, expansive lower grille, sleek side skirts, LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and LED rear combination lamps. Auto headlamps with welcome-home lighting, chrome door handles, a floating-roof effect and a rear window wiper complete the refreshed exterior.

Inside, ventilated front seats and wireless smartphone charging join premium dual-tone interiors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a Head-Up Display and a 22.86 cm Smart Playcast Pro infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Toyota i-Connect supports remote locking and unlocking, vehicle-health monitoring, safety alerts, geofencing and service information. Smartwatch integration, voice assistance and a premium Clarion sound system further enhance connectivity.

Power comes from a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine producing 61 kW and 112.4 Nm of torque. Toyota claims fuel efficiency of 23.80 km/l for the manual transmission and 24.77 km/l for the AMT. The CNG powertrain delivers 51.3 kW and 101.8 Nm, with AMT availability adding convenience to the alternative-fuel offering.The Glanza’s new Level 2 ADAS suite includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Autonomous Emergency Braking and High Beam Assist. Safety equipment also includes six airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, ABS with EBD, TPMS, an emergency stop signal, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, a 360-degree camera and rear parking sensors. Front seatbelts feature pre-tensioners, force limiters, reminders and Emergency Locking Retractors (ELRs).

Toyota backs the Glanza with a three-year/100,000-kilometre warranty, extendable to five years/220,000 kilometres. Ownership benefits include 60-minute Express Maintenance, service appointment booking, 24×7 roadside assistance and finance solutions through Toyota Financial Services and leading financial institutions, supported by Toyota’s sales and service network.

Seven colour options are available: Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, Insta Blue, Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green, the last two being new additions.
