Ultraviolette has introduced its new VX-100 100V architecture alongside the X-47 Venom, the next-generation X-47 Crossover and the first motorcycle built on the new platform. Priced from INR 2,65,000, the electric motorcycle combines a claimed 343 km IDC range, a 155 km/h top speed and 12 kW DC fast-charging capability.

Available across India, the introductory price applies to the first 5,000 customers. Bookings open today at 4:00 PM IST, with deliveries scheduled to commence in November 2026.

At the heart of the X-47 Venom is the VX-100 platform, paired with SRB-11 battery technology, a lighter motor and a next-generation motor control unit. Producing 30 kW (40 hp) and 550 Nm of wheel torque, the motorcycle accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Its 180 kg kerb weight makes it up to 20 kg lighter than its predecessor.

The new architecture incorporates a battery configuration offering up to 20% greater energy density and twice the cooling performance. An optimised thermal pathway is designed to dissipate heat up to 50% faster, while the cast-aluminium battery housing combines structural strength with reduced mass. The battery also features IP67 protection and a multi-layered safety system, including a pyro-fuse designed to isolate the circuit within microseconds when a critical fault is detected.

Charging is another key development. Ultraviolette describes the X-47 Venom as India’s only electric two-wheeler capable of 12 kW DC fast charging. The motorcycle retains UV Hypersense radar intelligence, using a 77 GHz rear radar with a monitoring range of up to 200 metres. Its functions include blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings, with hazard lights activated in response to potential rear-end threats.

Technology extends to a seven-inch UV INTERFACE X touchscreen, upgraded Mappls navigation, Park Assist with a rear-camera feed and VIOLETTE A.I. connectivity features, including movement, fall and towing alerts, remote lockdown and crash alerts. Ultraviolette also promises extendable warranty coverage of up to 8,00,000 km.

Alongside the motorcycle, the company has introduced B-MAX, a reusable rider safety vest offering 86% force attenuation and protection for key areas including the chest, back, sides and hips. The vest can be reused up to five times.

Together, the VX-100 platform and X-47 Venom signal Ultraviolette’s continued push towards higher-performance electric motorcycles, combining increased charging capability, reduced weight and more comprehensive rider-assistance technologies.
