Ampere Electric appoints Thiruppathy Srinivasan as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Manufacturing
His expertise lies in technology and organizational strategy, product development and manufacturing operations to enable efficiency in businesses.

Ampere Electric, a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd. has announced that Thiruppathy Srinivasan will be joining as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of Manufacturing, with immediate effect. Prior to joining Ampere, he was working with Ather Energy. His expertise lies in technology & organizational strategy, product development and manufacturing operations to enable efficiency in businesses. He is an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University and B.Tech from IIT- Madaras. With over 29 years of total experience, he has taken up several projects involving product development and manufacturing operations. His rich experience includes working in international markets with industries like Medtronic, Rexnord, Lomega, and 3M where he was leading the global operations. Communication on Srinivasan’s appointment, Nagesh Basavanhalli, Group CEO and MD said, “We are delighted to have Thiruppathy Srinivasan on board with us.
