Hero Electric collaborates with SpareIt to train garages and use their network as EV service hubs

NEW DELHI
India’s No.1 electric two-wheeler brand Hero Electric, announced its partnership with SpareIt, India’s largest automotive aftermarket multi-sided platform to train and use their garage network as EV service hubs. Moving a step ahead in fostering EV ecosystem and Preferred Garage Owners (PGOs) growth, Hero Electric will provide training to garage owners associated with SpareIt. Furthermore, it will also coach trainers from SpareIt as part of their train-the-trainer program. As part of the collaboration, SpareIt will offer these trained garages as Private Garage Owners (PGO) for Hero Electric’s B2B and B2C clients. Additionally, SpareIt locate app will integrate fleets and customers for garage discovery and service calls to make EV owning experience seamless. Commenting on the association Mr. Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “At Hero, we believe that a robust and well-equipped service network is key to a satisfied customer experience. Mechanics need to be re-skilled and trained to readily address various issues faced by customers in the operation, usage, and maintenance of the electric scooters.
