Takuya Tsumura joins as President & CEO of Honda Cars India

NEW DELHI
Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, announced that Mr. Takuya Tsumura has assumed the office of President & CEO from today. As part of HCIL organisational changes, the company also elevated Mr Kunal Behl as Vice President, Marketing and Sales from his erstwhile position of Operating Head – Sales and Network Development. In his new role, Mr Behl will be Operating Head of Sales and Marketing and will form an integral part of the management team spearheaded by new CEO Mr Takuya Tsumura and will support Mr Yuichi Murata, Director – Marketing & Sales. Mr. Tsumura has been associated with Honda Motor Co. Ltd. for more than 30 years and has vast experience in the automobile industry, having worked in several international markets including Thailand, Australia, China, Japan, Turkey and has worked with overseas division for Europe and Asia & Oceania regions. He was in-charge of South Asian countries including India from 1997 to 2000 while working at HM head office.
