Hero Electric partners with VoltUp and Adani Electricity to expand charging infrastructure in Mumbai

Hero Electric, the largest and oldest E2W company, in a strategic move to revolutionise battery swapping in Mumbai, announced partnership with one-stop battery swapping start-up VoltUp and Adani Electricity. Committed to developing the EV sector, this is a first wherein an OEM, Infrastructure, Last Mile partners and a battery swapping start-up have come together to boost smart mobility.  The lack of charging infrastructure, high cost of adoption and long charging time for electric vehicles have been a challenge toward the adoption of electric mobility in India. To plug these gaps, all partners have come together to setting and scaling up of infrastructure – thus bridging together network, energy, and technology.
