Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has reached a significant sales milestone, with 50,000 ADAS-equipped Honda cars now on Indian roads. This accomplishment aligns with the company’s commitment to Honda’s global “Safety for Everyone” vision and its goal of eliminating traffic collision fatalities by 2050.Honda’s safety innovations focus on crashworthiness, collision compatibility, and pedestrian safety. The Honda SENSING ADAS technology, first introduced in India with the Honda City e:HEV in May 2022, has since been expanded to other models, including the Honda City (March 2023), Honda Elevate (September 2023), and the Honda Amaze (December 2024). The all-new Amaze is India’s most affordable ADAS-enabled car, making advanced safety more accessible.Customer response has been overwhelmingly positive, with ADAS variants accounting for over 60%, 95%, and 30% of sales in the Elevate, City, and Amaze models, respectively.
