Democratizing its Performance Line, Volkswagen India announces prices across the new variants and the GT Edge Limited Collection on Taigun and Virtus
Symbolizing power and unparalleled performance, the much sought after GT badge is now more accessible with the introduction of new variants

MUMBAI
Volkswagen Passenger Cars India today announced the market introduction of its new variants on the India 2.0 carlines – Taigun & Virtus, along with exclusive online bookings for the marquee GT Edge Limited Collection via the Volkswagen India website. The GT Edge carlines will be manufactured basis customer bookings (via the Volkswagen India website) and deliveries will begin July 2023 onward. Democratizing the Performance Line on the Taigun and Virtus, Volkswagen India is making the GT badge more accessible with the introduction of new variants. On popular demand, the Volkswagen Virtus is now available with a 6-speed manual transmission on the GT Plus variant. The introductory price of the carline is INR 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, the Brand introduces two new variants on India’s most safest SUVW, the Volkswagen Taigun – GT DSG and GT Plus manual transmission at an introductory price of INR 16.79 lakh and INR 17.77 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). With this introduction, Volkswagen India ensures there’s a Taigun that caters to the requirements of every customer with the ability to choose from 9 variant offerings across the Dynamic (1.0l TSI) and Performance Line (1.5l TSI EVO engine).
