Hyundai Venue will close CY 2019 with 100,000 bookings

MUMBAI
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has announced that their brand Hyundai Venue is all set to close the Calendar year 2019 with a 100,000 Bookings. The Made-in-India Venue has seen a demand in the overseas market as well and is now all set is to enter the South African market from December 2, 2019. The first major shipment of 1,400 units is dispatched to South Africa from the Chennai port today. The other markets for Venue exports are Nepal, Bhutan, Mauritius and Seychelles. Currently, the 1.0 Turbo GDi with 7 DCT RHD (Right Hand Drive) model is being exported to all countries, including South Africa. The LHD (Left Hand Drive) model is being developed and is expected to be exported to the Gulf, African and Latin American regions. It must be noted that even in India, Hyundai has not raised the price of the Venue since it was introduced in May 2019. Commenting on the Venue's success, Mr S S Kim, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said, “Hyundai Venue has become the customers’ first choice in India and Global markets. Launched in May 2019, Hyundai Venue has penned a new success story, having registered over 90,000 bookings (May-Nov, 2019) in India.
