Icons of Porsche festival to host 911 Dakar premiere

Porsche will soon unveil a very special variant of the iconic 911: the new 911 Dakar. The world premiere will be held at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 17 November. Following soon after, the 911 Dakar will have its regional premiere at the 2022 Icons of Porsche festival at the Dubai Design District (D3) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 26 and 27 November 2022. Other exciting 911 models will be available to view for the first time in the region. The performance-focussed Porsche 911 GT3 RS and retro-inspired Porsche 911 Sport Classic will also have their regional premieres at this year’s edition of Icons of Porsche. As previously announced, four classic cars with rally heritage will be displayed at Icons of Porsche later this month, on loan from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.
