Renault and Nissan forge new path with strategic initiatives
RNAIPL will be fully acquired by Renault from Nissan, enhancing Renault’s global presence, however, Nissan’s operations in India will continue, with the Magnite's ongoing production. A Nissan-designed Twingo derivative will be developed by Renault and more flexibility on shareholdings will be allowed in the revised alliance agreement, and Nissan will be relieved from investing in Ampere, while remaining committed to other projects.
