Škoda Auto Volkswagen India drives global expansion with record exports in 2024

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has been awarded the prestigious title of “Top Exporter 2023-2024” by the Mumbai Port Authority. This honor celebrates the company’s significant role in India’s export sector and its consistent legacy of exporting made-in-India cars globally for over two decades. SAVWIPL’s efforts align with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, which has been pivotal in establishing India as a prominent automotive export hub. The company has exported more than 675,000 vehicles to date, demonstrating its dedication to engineering and manufacturing excellence. In 2023, SAVWIPL achieved a remarkable 38% year-on-year (YoY) growth, with exports making up 30% of its total production.
