With rising fuel prices, Hero Electric’s dealerships report record footfalls

Over the last few weeks, rising fuel prices have led to consumers looking for alternative options to fulfil their mobility needs and curb expenses. With no relief in sight and the prices hitting Rs.100, many across the country have resorted to using public transport where possible, to reduce the pinch on their savings. In times like these, India's Largest Electric two-wheeler company, Hero Electric’s “City Speed” bikes have witnessed a significant demand. Dealerships of the company across the country have also reported rising footfalls with consumers not only test-riding them but also looking for exchange options to trade in their existing bikes.  At a time where various state governments have offered various subsidies to encourage buying of electric vehicles over and above the central government’s FAME II, consumers are now exploring e-scooters that lead to long term savings and lower cost of maintenance.
