Bajaj Auto Ltd., the world’s most valuable two-wheeler and three-wheeler company, has introduced the new Pulsar N250SS, an upgraded iteration of its Pulsar N250, bringing enhanced performance, an expanded technology suite and additional rider-focused features to the quarter-litre motorcycle segment. Priced at ₹1,59,406 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Bajaj Pulsar N250SS combines a more potent four-valve engine with a six-speed gearbox, Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) technology and a TFT instrument console with Google Maps mirroring.
The latest upgrade marks a significant step in the evolution of the Pulsar N250, with the N250SS emerging as the most feature-loaded motorcycle in the quarter-litre segment.
At the heart of the Bajaj Pulsar N250SS is an upgraded four-valve engine producing 25 PS of power and 22 Nm of torque, compared with the existing N250’s 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm. The addition of a six-speed gearbox, replacing the earlier five-speed unit, further distinguishes the new motorcycle’s powertrain.
Another notable introduction is the Electronic Throttle Body (ETB), which brings ETB ride modes alongside the existing ABS modes. The combination broadens the motorcycle’s technology offering while reinforcing its performance-oriented positioning within the competitive 250cc motorcycle segment.

Technology takes centre stage with the introduction of a TFT instrument console, replacing the existing LCD display and incorporating Google Maps mirroring. The updated equipment list also includes a Sports Shifter, adjustable levers, Panic Brake Alert, a USB Type-C charging port and a hazard switch.
Together, these additions give the Pulsar N250SS a more comprehensive feature set, combining everyday convenience with technology designed around the rider’s requirements.
As Pulsar marks 25 years, the N250SS underscores Bajaj Auto’s continued evolution of the Pulsar N series in response to changing rider expectations. Its enhanced powertrain, expanded electronic features and commanding road presence build on the performance-led character and attitude that have long defined the Pulsar identity.
Speaking on the announcement, Mr Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer, Two-wheeler Business Unit, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “With the N250SS, we are bringing a more advanced technology package to the quarter-litre segment. The combination of an upgraded powertrain and ETB ride modes strengthens the motorcycle’s proposition, reflecting our focus on making technology a meaningful part of the performance riding experience.”
With its revised specifications and expanded equipment list, the Bajaj Pulsar N250SS strengthens the model’s proposition in India’s quarter-litre motorcycle market, bringing together performance, connectivity and rider-oriented technology at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,59,406 in Delhi.
