Benelli India has launched the new TRK 552 and TRK 552X, marking a comprehensive evolution of its adventure-touring motorcycle platform. With a new 554cc parallel-twin engine, upgraded chassis hardware, enhanced connectivity and touring-focused comfort features, the latest models cater to distinctly different riding preferences, from predominantly tarmac-based touring to adventures beyond paved roads.
The Benelli TRK 552 is priced at INR 7,22,000, while the TRK 552X costs INR 7,74,000. The TRK 552X Limited Edition, finished in yellow, is priced at ₹7,90,000. All prices are ex-showroom, India. Bookings for the new motorcycles open on 22nd October 2026, through authorised Benelli Keeway dealerships across India, with availability commencing on the same date.
At the heart of the new TRK 552 family is a 554cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-twin engine producing 52 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 49 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Paired with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, the powertrain promises a combination of performance and smoother downshifts. Both motorcycles employ a tubular steel trellis frame, an aluminium swingarm, a 50 mm Marzocchi upside-down front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by twin 320 mm floating front discs and a 260 mm rear disc, supported by Bosch dual-channel ABS.
Technology takes a considerable step forward, with a new 5-inch TFT instrument display incorporating Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and T-BOX connectivity. Features include route planning, turn-by-turn directions, offline navigation and trackback functionality. Both variants also receive a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), alongside heated grips, a heated seat, redesigned padded seats, adjustable handlebars and new hand guards. A 20-litre fuel tank further reinforces their long-distance touring credentials.
The distinction between the two motorcycles lies in their intended terrain. The road-oriented TRK 552 rides on 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels, shod with 120/70ZR17 front and 160/60ZR17 rear Pirelli tyres. Its 190 mm ground clearance and 835 mm seat height favour tarmac touring and everyday usability.
By contrast, the TRK 552X adopts spoke wheels, a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear configuration, and Metzeler tyres measuring 110/80R19 at the front and 150/70R17 at the rear. With 210 mm of ground clearance and an 860 mm seat height, it is configured for more demanding adventure riding.
Commenting on the launch, Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Benelli India, said, “The TRK name has become synonymous with the spirit of touring and exploration, and the new TRK 552 and TRK 552X take that philosophy into a new generation. We have focused on the aspects like performance, comfort, control, technology and versatility, which matter most to riders who travel long distances. With the new 554cc engine, upgraded chassis components, connected features and enhanced touring equipment, the new TRK 552 family is designed to give riders the freedom to explore further, whether their journey stays on the highway or takes them beyond it.”
The new-generation TRK 552 range builds on the touring philosophy of the TRK 502 and TRK 502X, offering Indian motorcyclists two distinct interpretations of adventure touring, with updated performance, technology and comfort at their core.
